We adopted our 4th child almost 6 years ago. God led us to adoption by opening our eyes at a SCC concert. This past summer, we were once again drawn to a little girl on a waiting child list. We knew that God intended for her to be our daughter.

Follow God’s leading. If He is calling you to adopt, then He will provide the means. God has called us all to reach out to the fatherless. That may not mean adoption for all, but I believe God would have many more of His followers to open their hearts and homes to the waiting children in this world. Our daughter from China has been a blessing to us. I can’t imagine not having her as our daughter. I’m so glad that we listened when God spoke to us over 6 years ago.
